AFI KLM E&M has completed a successful collaboration with Beijing Capital Airlines on the carrier’s LEAP-1A engine, a significant milestone in the European MRO’s expansion in China.

All Nippon Airways (ANA) will fit RECARO Aircraft Seating’s latest model seats in its premium economy and economy cabins that serve long-haul routes. The new seats will be introduced on its 787-9s from the beginning of fiscal 2026, ANA said.

Collins Aerospace has enhanced its SelfServ platform, an integrated Common Use Self Service solution designed to streamline the passenger travel experience and airport operations.

IAE International Aero Engines said the V2500 engine has surpassed 300 million engine flight hours of operational experience. IAE is a Pratt & Whitney, Pratt & Whitney Aero Engines International, Japanese Aero Engines Corporation and MTU Aero Engines AG consortium.

Air Canada will be the launch customer for the Airbus Airspace cabin. The flag carrier will equip its A220s with the product which features extra-large overhead bins.

Qantas Airways and Airbus will jointly invest A$15 million (US$9 million) in Climate Tech Partners (CTP), a leading climate focused venture capital fund, to accelerate development of Sustainable Aviation Fuel and other aviation de-carbonisation technologies.

Amadeus predicts current Departure Control Systems will be replaced by “Delivery Management Systems (DMSs)”, making airport check-in optional.

Safran Passenger Innovations (SPI) is demonstrating its new Personal Electronic Device at the 2025 Aircraft Interiors Expo. It allows passengers to connect their personal devices to RAVE In-Flight Entertainment (IFE) displays that channel their choice of content to their seatback screens.

Vietnam Airlines and Citibank N.A. have signed a Memorandum of Understanding exceeding US$560 million to support the flag carrier’s investment initiatives.
