ANA HOLDINGS posts record revenue buoyed by international demand

ANA HOLDINGS INC. booked fiscal year 2024-2025 (April 1, 2024-March 31, 2025) revenue of 2.26 trillion (US$15.8 billion) yen, a group high that exceeded its previous fiscal year results by 205.9 billion yen. As a result of the robust numbers, the group has raised the full-year financial guidance it issued in February. International revenue, with strong demand into Japan, achieved a revenue high of 805.5 billion yen due to new routes launched last December from Tokyo Haneda to Milan, Stockholm and Istanbul, the company said. Full-service All Nippon Airways (ANA) delivered international passenger revenue of 806 billion yen in the 12 months, a 10.6% increase compared with full-year 2023-2024. ANA flew more than eight million passengers on international flights in 2024-2025 up 13% for the year. Capacity expanded 8.4% year-on-year, revenue passenger kilometres increased 11% in the reported 12 months and passenger load factor averaged 79.2%. ANA international cargo carried was 20.5% higher than a year ago. “These results underscore the efforts we have undertaken over the past several years and form an integral part of our mid-year strategy to strategically position the ANA Group for sustained growth in the years ahead,” ANA HOLDINGS executive vice president and group chief financial officer, Kimihiro Nakahori, said.
