All Nippon Airways expects to have 100 787s in service by 2030

Read More » “We only have three 787s scheduled for introduction this year, so the pace is slow. We are negotiating with Boeing about future delivery schedules, but we do not foresee the pace continuing to be slow. I believe we will achieve the 100 aircraft as planned,” ANA HOLDINGS INC. president and CEO, Koji Shibata, told reporters at the group’s recent results press conference. In February the company announced it intended to order up to 77 aircraft. Eighteen 787-9s (all firm orders) are scheduled to arrive at the airline from 2028 to 2031 and 12 737 Max 8s (8 firm orders, 4 options) to enter into service at the group’s airlines between 2029 and 2033. “We will formally sign a contract for the 77 aircraft at the coming Paris Air Show. We also would like to unveil the 787 business class that will be introduced from next year,” Shibata said.
