Air China has postponed its annual general meeting due to the “company’s actual work arrangements”. Scheduled for May 28, the AGM will now be held on or before June 30, Air China said in a regulatory filing.
Air India has appointed Friends Touristik Marketing GmbH & CoKG as its general sales agent for passenger services in Austria and Switzerland. The Star Alliance member flies ex Delhi five times a week to Zurich and four times weekly to Vienna with 787s.
Air Lease has reported a net profit of US$364.8 million for the three months to March 31, more than three times the net profit of US$97.4 million it booked in the same months in 2024. Revenue was 11.3% higher, at US$738.3 million, Air Lease said. Net profit was boosted by a US$322 million benefit from the settlement of insurance claims with certain insurers related to aircraft detained in Russia, the lessor said.

Malaysia’s Sarawak premier, Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, has announced a partnership with Airbus to establish a joint task force to develop the state’s aerospace industry. The announcement was made during the Sarawak premier’s visit to Airbus headquarters in Toulouse.
