Vietnam Airlines expands Europe network to 10 cities

The Vietnam National Authority of Tourism said Italy was one of the country’s top 10 fastest growing inbound markets in 2024 with visitor arrivals up 155% compared with 2023. "Hanoi-Milan not only shortens the distance between our two nations. It creates new momentum for tourism, business and cultural exchange. Italy is one of Europe’s most promising markets and this route is a key part of our strategy to assist Vietnam in reaching its goal of 23 million international visitors in 2025," Vietnam Airlines chair, Dang Ngoc Hoa, said.
Separately, the airline and Etihad Airways have agreed a frequent flyer partnership that allows loyalty members of either airline to earn and redeem miles across both networks.
