Air France-KLM boosts Asia-Pacific network with Qantas Airways code-shares

Read More » Since July 1, Air France’s its AF airline code has been flying on Qantas Airways nonstop Paris-Perth and between Tokyo Haneda and Sydney. Tokyo is the third Asia gateway to connect Air France with a Qantas-operated service to Australia alongside existing code-shares from Hong Kong and Singapore. Air France and KLM also have their AF and KL airlines codes, respectively, carried on the Qantas Airways Singapore-Darwin service. At the same time, the European airlines have introduced frequent flyer rule changes with Air France-KLM Flying Blue members able to redeem miles for travel in Qantas first class cabins and members with Ultimate status can access the Australian carrier’s first class lounges. "This expanded partnership between Air France, KLM and Qantas ushers in a new era of international travel, bringing enhanced connectivity, convenience and comfort to customers journeying between the two continents," Air France-KLM Group said.
