Air Niugini said 18 staff has completed Airbus training in preparations for September arrival of the airline’s first A220. "This program is more than just training," Air Niugini CEO, Gary Seddon, said. "It represents a journey of transformation for Air Niugini." The flag carrier has ordered eight A220-100s and three A220-300s.
Elbe Flugzeugwerke has received Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) validation for the supplemental type certification (STC) of its A320 and A321 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversion programs. "With CAAC’s approval of the STC for our A320/A321P2F program, we can offer the full suite of our conversion solutions for Chinese-registered aircraft, a major step in supporting the freight needs of the rapidly expanding Chinese market," EFW CEO, Jordi Boto, said.
