Air China passengers flown decline in July

Air China transported 14.46 million passengers on its domestic, international and regional networks last month, down 0.4% from the 14.51 million travellers the airline flew in the same days in 2024. However, the gains were offset by a 1.3% decline in domestic passengers carried, to 12.4 million, and a 2.2% fall off in regional passengers, at 440,600, in the reported period. Passenger capacity expanded 2.3% compared with 12 months ago but load factor slipped 0.1 of a percentage point to 80.1%. The Star Alliance member’s fleet was 935 aircraft on July 31, an increase of one jet from the previous month.
