China Southern Airlines exceeds 16 million passengers flown update reports

China Southern Airlines (CSA) flew 16.1 million passengers in July, up 6.3% compared with the 15.2 million customers it carried 12 months ago. Read More » In the 31 days, domestic travellers numbered 5.5% more at 14.1 million and international passengers carried were higher by 13.8% at 1.8 million. In contrast, the airline’s regional air travellers declined 7.6% to 164,280 customers transported. Passenger load factor dipped 0.8 of a percentage point, to 84.4% in the month while passenger capacity expanded 6.7% in the same days. At July 31, CSA had 950 aircraft, an increase of seven airliners against June 30. In the month, CSA added two A321neos, three A320neos and one 787-9 to its fleet and retired a 737-700.
