AirAsia Philippines introduced a "more inclusive process for cabin crew recruitment" at two open casting calls this month. Candidates were invited to wear more casual clothing - white t-shirt, jeans and casual shoes for males and white shirt, denim skirt and heels for females. "We are reimagining our recruitment process to focus on the essentials: talent, attitude and the skills to be a successful cabin crew member," AirAsia Philippines CEO, Suresh Bangah, said.

Malaysia Airports will conduct maintenance work on the Kuala Lumpur aerotrain people mover from midnight to 0500 for the next two weeks. A bus service will transport passengers between the main terminal and the airport satellite building while the work is being done. The aerotrain resumed operations at the beginning of July after a three-year upgrade. "These scheduled works are essential to ensure optimal system responsiveness, safety and long-term reliability," Malaysia Airports managing director, Dato’ Mohd Izani Ghani, said.

SATS Saudi Arabia and Riyadh Air have established a partnership to develop cargo hub operations at King Khalid International Airport and also at Dammam’s King Fahd International airport and King Abdulaziz International airport Jeddah.
