China Southern Airlines launching Guangzhou-Darwin in December

China Southern Airlines (CSA) will inaugurate three times a week Guangzhou to Australia’s most northern city on December 3 flying the route with 737 MAXs. Read More » The 5.5 hour rotation from Southern China to Darwin, a distance of 4,399 kilometres, will be one of CSA’s longest 737MAX routes. Other regional schedules flown by the carrier’s MAX fleet are Guangzhou to Port Moresby and to Tashkent. Additionally, CSA will add capacity to Australia in the southern hemisphere summer peak season. Guangzhou-Sydney will operate four times daily and Guangzhou-Brisbane will become double daily. Guangzhou-Melbourne will continue with a three times daily schedule and Guangzhou to Adelaide and Perth will each expand to three flights a week.
