British Airways expanding London-Bangkok to year-round schedule

British Airways (BA) will shift from a seasonal nonstop UK-Thailand rotation to a full-year schedule in response to demand. Read More » The oneworld alliance member’s London Gatwick-Bangkok Suvarnabhumi route will operate in the northern hemisphere summer season converting the service to a year-round schedule. BA returned to Thailand’s capital three times a week for the 2024 northern hemisphere winter. It has announced it will fly to Bangkok three times a week from March to October 2026 and six times a week the rest of the year. The frequency change reflected its "commitment to meet growing demand for travel to Southeast Asia", BA said. EVA Airways and Thai Airways International fly nonstop Suvarnabhumi to London Heathrow. Norse Atlantic Airways plans to open Gatwick-Suvarnabhumi in late October.
