The Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has successfully conducted simultaneous independent parallel departure operations on Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s (KLIA) three-runway system. "This operation allows airplanes to depart simultaneously and independently from KLIA’s three parallel runways, enabling three take-offs at the same time without sequencing delays," CAAM said.

HAECO Group has started construction of a Xiamen MRO shop that will offer GP7200, CF34-10A, and GE9X engine services. HAECO Engine Services (Xiamen) will operate the new complex, which is adjacent to the company’s existing Xiamen MRO centre.

Japan Airlines (JAL) will launch an updated website for its JALCARGO customers on August 28 to give clients easier access to information critical to their business operations. More improvements of the revamped website, including improved integration with the airline’s domestic and international cargo booking portals, will be rolled out in coming months.
