Cathay Pacific reports impact of Tropical Storm Tapha easing

Cathay Pacific is working to return flights to its schedule cancelled on September 8 due to the impact of Tropical Storm Tapha on Hong Kong, Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) said. Read More » An estimated 140 flights were cancelled and 370 flights delayed because of the tropical storm. The airport handled about 400 flight movements overnight on September 8 and September 9 as part of its flight rescheduling control system. "With Tropical Storm Tapha moving away from Hong Kong this evening (September 8), the adverse weather conditions impacting our flight schedules are subsiding," the airline said. "We are committed to returning our schedule to normal as quickly as possible."
