Philippine Airlines adding capacity to accommodate surge in domestic travel

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is boosting flights on its domestic network to meet air travel demand. PAL said the schedule changes reflected a 7% increase in domestic seat capacity at its Manila hub. Read More » "By expanding our domestic flight route network through increased flight frequency, we can efficiently cater to the needs of travellers," PAL Express president, Rabbi Vincent Ang, said. Routes flying more frequently include Manila-Butuan from 14 to 21 flights a week, Manila-Cagayan de Oro to 42 flights a week and the up gauging of some Manila-Antique flights to A330s from December to March 2026.
