Batik Air Malaysia adds three Singapore routes to network

Batik Air Malaysia will operate daily nonstop Singapore Changi to Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur Subang and Penang from December 1. Read More » The Lion Air Group carrier plans to fly 737 MAX 8s from Changi to Ipoh and Penang and Changi-Subang with 737-800 equipment, Changi Airport said. The new services join Batik Air Malaysia’s existing Changi-Kuala Lumpur International Airport rotation. They will coincide with Lion Air Group carriers, Batik Air Indonesia, Batik Air Malaysia and Thai Lion Air moving their operations from Changi’s Terminal 3 to Terminal 4. At present, Scoot is the only airline offering nonstop Changi-Ipoh and Changi-Subang. AirAsia Malaysia, Scoot and Singapore Airlines serve Changi-Penang.
