Asiana Airlines and Korean Air conduct workshops to facilitate integration

Asiana Airlines and Korean Air (KAL) held a joint workshop on October 1 that included flight training policies and the standardization of flight education. Read More » It was attended by 150 instructors from both airlines. Workshops also were conducted for employees of both carriers to get to know each other. KAL said the goal of the workshops is to create an integrated airline with the combined human and material resources of the two carriers. KAL added it is working on combined training resources, including cooperating with Asiana in preparing joint flight training systems such as a mock flight simulator training program.
