Air China grows passenger numbers above 13 million in September

Air China flew 13.1 million passengers on its domestic, international and regional networks in September, up by 3.7% from the 12.6 million travellers it carried in the same month in 2024. Read More » In the reported 30 days, international passenger numbers flown were higher by 12.4%, at 1.5 million and regional passengers advanced 8.2%, to 374,400. The Star Alliance member’s domestic network posted the slowest growth, at 2.4%, to 11.2 million passengers. Capacity expanded 1.2% compared with 12 months ago and passenger load factor rose 3.5 percentage points to 83.2%. Air China’s fleet stood at 946 aircraft on September 30, an increase of five from the end of August.
