October 24th 2025
Singapore Airlines (SIA) schedule says the last flight operated by Boeing 737-800 aircraft will be operated on Sunday, October 26, 2025. Read More » From Monday, which marks the beginning of the northern winter season, the only narrow-body aircraft used by the Singaporean carrier will be Boeing 737 MAX 8. The retirement of the older Boeing 737 model means Singapore Airlines will offer flat-bed business class seats, in-flight Wi-Fi, and seatback entertainment, throughout its fleet. Singapore Airlines used nine 737-800s, which joined its fleet in 2021 after SilkAir merged into the airline, and were gradually retired. The remaining SIA flights by 737-800 will be operated by a plane with registration 9V-MGN on the Singapore-Kathmandu and the Singapore-Penang routes.
