The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) published the first ReFuelEU Aviation Annual Technical Report, laying out the initial picture of how Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) are being supplied, purchased and used across the European Union (EU).
The JAL Group has announced the Winter schedule of its international cargo freighters for the fiscal year 2025, effective from Oct 26, 2025. The Narita-Bangkok route will be launched as a scheduled service, marking the second Southeast Asia destination within the cargo network. Additionally, the Narita-Tianjin route frequency will increase by one flight per week.
MTU Aero Engines AG increased its adjusted revenue and earnings across the board in the first nine months of 2025. Adjusted revenue climbed 19% from €5.3 billion (US$6.15 billion) to €6.3 billion. The company’s adjusted operating profit was up 34% reaching €995 million (1-9/2024: €744 million). The adjusted EBIT margin increased from 14.0% to 15.9%. Adjusted net income2 rose to €720 million, a gain of 33% (1-9/2024: €541 million).
