Today’s briefs report news from Air Lease, BOC Aviation Limited, Boeing, Fiji Airways, Sun PhuQuoc Airways, Thai Airways International (THAI), Wright International, and Zhejiang Loong Airlines. Read More »

Thai Airways International (THAI) said that from 26 October 2025 to 28 March 2026, it will operate scheduled flights to 63 destinations worldwide, covering both domestic and international routes, reflecting commitment to its Network Airline strategy, efficiently connecting inbound, outbound, and transit passengers through Bangkok.

Air Lease announced a long-term lease agreement with Sun PhuQuoc Airways for one new Airbus A321-200neo aircraft, scheduled to deliver to the startup Vietnamese airline in 2027.

BOC Aviation Limited announced that it has placed three Airbus A320NEO aircraft from the Company’s orderbook with Zhejiang Loong Airlines (Loong Air). All aircraft will be powered by CFM LEAP-1A engines and are scheduled to deliver in 2027. "We are proud to continue expanding our presence in China through this transaction with Loong Air, which will add three more technologically advanced and fuel-efficient Airbus A320NEO into its fleet," said Steven Townend, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, BOC Aviation. "The signing of this agreement marks another solid step forward in the strategic cooperation between BOC Aviation and Loong Air. Hangzhou is a thriving tech hub that attracts countless young talents, and a land filled with opportunities and challenges. We look forward to exploring new cooperation opportunities and working together with BOC Aviation to promote innovation and development within the aviation industry," Liu Qihong, Chairman of Loong Air said.

Boeing pushed the first delivery of its 777X jet program out to 2027. The company will take US$15 billion charge due to the delays.

Wright International, acquired by the global MRO group FL Technics back in 2020, has officially received approval from the Civil Aviation Authority (CAAF) of Fiji and launched a partnership with Fiji Airways. Under the agreement Wright International provides line maintenance services for Fiji Airways Airbus A350-900 and A330-200/300 aircraft at Vancouver International Airport.
