Air New Zealand to launch Brisbane-Queenstown service next year

Air New Zealand (Air NZ) has added a new seasonal route linking Brisbane with Queenstown to its 2026 schedule. Read More » The Star Alliance member plans to offer three flights a week on the route for a four-month period during the winter months next year, between June 22 and October 23. "We know Queenstown is a year-round favourite for Australians, and this connection will also help bring more visitors to our region during the ski and adventure season," Air NZ general manager for short haul and domestic, Lucy Hall, said. "Brisbane is also a fantastic destination for South Islanders looking to swap the snow for sunshine." Currently, Qantas and Virgin Australia (VA) offer year-round nonstop service between Brisbane and Queenstown. In September, Qantas Group LCC, Jetstar, announced its own plans to launch a seasonal service on the route from June to October next year.
