Boeing committed to commence the deliveries of jets ordered by Kazakh carriers in 2026

Air Astana will receive the first of 18 ordered Boeing 787-9 jets in July 2026, Boeing vice president of sales and marketing Paul Wrigley said. Read More » The first three units, leased from Air Lease Corporation, are scheduled to be accepted between 2026 and 2027, allowing the carrier to launch long-haul services. 15 more 787-9s, ordered during Dubai Airshow, are due to be delivered from 2032 to 2035. Other countries’ carrier, Vietjet Qazaqstan, will receive its first Boeing 737-8 in September 2026. According to ch-aviation, the LCC is to receive up to 20 737s MAX from Vietjet Air between 2026 and 2031.
