Read More » The LCC has cut its Delhi-Manchester schedule to four flights a week, from five flights previously. The route will then drop further to three flights a week from February 19. IndiGo is also removing one Delhi-London Heathrow flight a week from today (9 February), meaning it will have four flights a week on the route. Passengers impacted by the change will be offered alternative flights or refunds. "Recently IndiGo’s widebody operation has faced external operational constraints; continuously changing airspace constraints due to geo-political circumstances, congestion at airports both in India and abroad," IndiGo said. "These factors significantly increased flight and block times causing strain over the airline’s 787-9 schedule that is operated with six widebody aircraft. By making these adjustments to its schedule the airline strives to improve reliability of its long-haul services and reduce disruption to connecting itineraries booked by its customers."
