Airbus posts weakest monthly deliveries in more than five years in January

Read More » It was the lowest monthly total since April 2020, when the company handed over 14 aircraft to customers amid the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The company’s orders and deliveries data for January showed it delivered only one aircraft through the first 14 days of 2026, an A321neo to Qantas Group LCC, Jetstar Airways. Deliveries did pick up towards the end of the month, with five aircraft handed over on January 30. The airframer booked orders for 49 aircraft last month, underpinned by Spring Airlines’ order for 24 A320neo and six A321neo aircraft. The only widebody order registered in January was one A330-900 from Air Algerie.
