SpiceJet to induct 10 more aircraft into fleet in capacity ramp up

Read More » The LCC has a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to induct another 10 aircraft into the fleet. The company said in a regulatory filing the MoU followed board approval last week to expand the fleet to 60 aircraft through a mix of wet and damp leases as well as returning to service of existing grounded aircraft. "Doubling our capacity in the last quarter has been a significant milestone. Plans we have in place to more than double it in this year reflect growing confidence in the business and strong demand across the network," SpiceJet chief business officer, Debojo Maharshi, said. "The receipt of this MoU is an encouraging development as we rebuild and expand our operations in a measured manner."
