SIA Group reports 223,200 increase in passengers in February

Singapore Airlines Group (SIA) flew 3.3 million passengers in February, up 7.2% from 3.1 million transported in the same month in 2025. Read More » The growth was almost entirely from the airline group’s LCC, Scoot, which posted a 19.7% lift in passengers to 1.2 million, while Singapore Airlines had passenger growth of 1% to 2.1 million. SIA said there was "healthy holiday demand" last month, due to the shift of the Lunar New Year period from January in 2025 to February in 2026. The group’s revenue passenger kilometres were 3.8% higher, while capacity increased 4.9% in the month. Passenger load factor for the airline group slipped 0.9 of a percentage point to 85.6%. SIA cut its cargo capacity 0.5% in February, while the cargo load factor was up 4.8 percentage points at 56.7%.
