AerCap Holdings announced that it has reached an agreement with Airbus to purchase 100 new A320neo Family aircraft, including the exercise of previously agreed firm options. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2028 and continue through 2034.

Korean Air (KAL) has successfully deployed the iFlight airline operations platform from IBS Software. Following the evaluation process, KAL selected iFlight for its ability to unify operations control, crew planning, crew tracking, and training on a single, cloud-native platform.

HAECO extended its long-standing line maintenance collaboration with All Nippon Airways (ANA) in Hong Kong through 2030.

Tigerair Taiwan and Anjee Aviation held a signing ceremony for the fourth pilot training contract. Anjee Aviation, the first flight training operator in Taiwan, established in 2014, has partnered with Tigerair Taiwan since 2015. “Pilots trained by Anjet have become the backbone of Tigerair Taiwan’s flight team due to their outstanding professional skills and workplace performance, further validating the solid standards of the local flight training system,” Tigerair Taiwan said in a statement.

BOC Aviation announced its first purchase of Sustainable Aviation Fuel certificates (SAFc) from the Singapore Airlines (SIA) Group. The Company is the first aircraft lessor to purchase SAFc from the SIA Group, marking a meaningful step in supporting the development of sustainable aviation solutions in the region.

Philippine’s Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) has adopted a 15-day monitoring and implementation cycle for passenger and cargo fuel surcharges for domestic and international flights, replacing the previous one-month cycle as an interim and temporary measure, allowing a faster response to market changes, reducing the lag between actual fuel costs and applicable fuel surcharge levels, and helping cushion the impact of fuel price volatility on both passengers and airline operations.

GA Telesis Engine Services, the MRO subsidiary of GA Telesis LLC, announced it has been awarded a contract to perform engine overhaul services for the Garuda Indonesia Group. The agreement follows a Request for Proposal (RFP) process and focuses on the maintenance of the CFM56-7B engines that power Garuda’s Boeing 737 Next-Generation fleet. The first CFM56-7B engine under this new agreement is already in transit to GATES’s flagship facility in Helsinki, Finland, for a comprehensive performance restoration.

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) signed a contract to operate the SKYTOPIA Art & Valuables Storage Facility with Eythos, a specialist custodian of art and high-value assets. It marks a significant milestone in Hong Kong International Airport’s (HKIA) development into an Airport City under the SKYTOPIA blueprint. Spanning 53,000 sq. ft., the stand-alone and purpose-designed Art & Valuables Storage Facility at SKYTOPIA offers services in connection with art and high-value assets. Located in an existing 2-storey building at the airport’s non-restricted area, the facility provides museum-grade storage and private viewing rooms. It is expected to commence operations in early 2027.
