Long holidays, baseball tournament, and cherry blossom lifted Tigerair Taiwan to 1Q2026 record revenue and profit

Read More » Revenue for the period reached NT$5.538 billion (US$170 million), a 19.6% year-on-year increase, setting a new record. Net profit after tax was NT$1.335 billion, a 41.6% increase compared to the same period in 2025. “Tigerair Taiwan’s profit growth in the first quarter of this year was more than double its revenue growth, demonstrating the effective management of its team in balancing cost control and high-margin routes, proactively turning environmental changes into opportunities for flexible responses,” the LCC said in a statement. The company added that the 1Q results were boosted by Tigerair Taiwan’s extensive route network, as well as the long holidays in Taiwan in the first quarter, the WBC World Baseball Classic in Tokyo, and the cherry blossom season, which increased passenger traffic.
