Swissport has commenced comprehensive ground handling and cargo operations for China Eastern Airlines (CEA) at Melbourne International Airport, marking a significant expansion of the companies’ strategic partnership across the Asia-Pacific region. Under the agreement, Swissport will deliver a full range of airport services, including passenger services, ramp handling, cargo operations, and aircraft cleaning.

EcoCeres signed an investment letter of intent with the Dongguan Municipal Peoples Government to build a sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) supply chain in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The supply chain focuses on EcoCeres’ 450,000 tonne per annum hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) and SAF facility in Dongguan. The supply chain will connect the feedstock collection across the Greater Bay Area to the refinery and the blending, refuelling and trading facilities in Hong Kong.

The LCC FLYONE ARMENIA has signed an agreement with Airbus for the acquisition of two A321-200NX aircraft. The signing ceremony took place on May 5 during French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to Yerevan.

Phoenix Aviation Capital announced the execution of long-term lease agreements for two Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with 9 Air, a low-cost carrier controlled by Juneyao Airlines. The first aircraft was successfully delivered to 9 Air on April 28, 2026, with the second scheduled for delivery later this year.
