Airbus completes 67 commercial aircraft deliveries for April

Airbus delivered 67 commercial aircraft to 39 customers in April, bringing to 181 the total number of aircraft handed over to customers through the first four months of this year. Read More » The April output represented an increase from the 60 deliveries in March. However the year-to-date total of 181 total deliveries was below the 192 aircraft it handed over to customers in the same four months last year. The airframer booked gross orders for 28 aircraft last month. The only disclosed order for the month was Singapore Airlines Group LCC Scoot’s order for five A320neo family aircraft. There was also an order for 15 A350-900s from an undisclosed customer. Airbus total gross orders in the year to April stood at 436 aircraft. Net orders were 405 aircraft, owing to 31 cancellations at the end of April.
