Malaysia Airlines reports "encouraging passenger demand" in March and April

Malaysia Airlines said its passenger traffic rose 30% in March, compared with the same month in 2025, and 8% in April. Read More » The oneworld alliance member and Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG) airline also reported more than 90% of its flights were on time for a second straight month in April, which reflected "ongoing operational improvements" across its network. "We recognise that travellers today are navigating a more uncertain environment, and that reliability and flexibility remain important when planning their journeys," MAG CEO of airline business, Bryan Foong, said. "The operational consistency we have seen in recent months, together with continued customer demand across key markets, is an encouraging reflection of the steady progress being made across the airline. Above all, our priority is to ensure customers feel supported and confident throughout their journey with us." Detailed passenger traffic figures beyond the percentage change were not disclosed.
