Boeing flew 777-9X test flight with cabin interiors last week

Read More » The aircraft, registration N20080, took off from Paine Field a little before 1400 local time on Thursday last week and spent about three and a half hours in the air before returning to the airfield. The aircraft interiors were from Lufthansa, the launch customer of the 777-9X. Boeing said the 777-9X, which has accumulated more than 4,700 flight test hours to date, was expected to commence certification testing in the weeks ahead. "The airplane performed as we expected," Boeing 777/777X chief pilot, Captain Ted Grady, said. "The 777-9 continues to handle beautifully. Thank you to everyone who worked to get the airplane ready for this flight and its next phase of testing."
