Vietjet pushes back start of Nha Trang-Singapore service

Vietjet will begin four times weekly nonstop flights between Nha Trang and Singapore from December 11. Read More » The start date of the new route, revealed at a technology forum in Singapore late last week, is six months later than the previous commencement date of June 1 which Vietjet announced in March this year. Nha Trang will be Vietjet’s fifth route from Singapore to Vietnam alongside existing flights to Da Nang, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Phu Quoc. "Direct air links between Vietnam’s high-potential destinations and Asia’s leading economic centers such as Singapore are contributing to the development of new growth corridors for tourism, commerce, investment and international connectivity," Vietjet first vice chair, Dinh Viet Phuong, said. Currently, Scoot flies nonstop between Nha Trang and Singapore.
