Qantas reported in talks with Airbus and Boeing over order of 20 wide-body jets

Read More » The carrier has outstanding orders for 12 Boeing 787s and 24 Airbus A350-1000s, including 12 of Ultra-Long Range variant. Qantas disclosed existing options to buy more aircraft. The sources said some of these could be exercised as part of the latest study. Airbus, Boeing, and Qantas did not comment on the report. “We’re in regular contact with aircraft manufacturers as part of our ongoing fleet planning and always update the market when we have something to announce. We currently have no updates or orders to announce,” a Qantas spokesperson told Reuters.
