ANA releases images of special livery Blue Pokémon jet

All Nippon Airways (ANA) has lifted the curtain on the design of the second of three special livery aircraft to celebrate 30 years of collaboration between the airline and Pokémon. Read More » The Blue Pokémon jet is a 737-800 with registration JA56AN and features Pikachu and water-based scenes from the game series on the fuselage and Pokémon-themed headrest covers in the cabin. Passengers will be served drinks in commemorative cups adorned with Pokémon characters. The Boeing narrowbody was expected to commence flying on domestic routes within Japan from December. "In partnership with Pokémon, the ANA Group remains committed to creating meaningful travel experiences that inspire connection, discovery and bring the joy of travel to passengers across the world as the wings of hearts connecting the world," ANA said. The third aircraft will be a Green Pokémon jet.
