BOC Aviation announced its unaudited results for the six months ended 30 June 2026. The company reported net profit after tax (“NPAT”) of US$357 million for the first half of 2026. This represented a 4% increase in reported profits and was another record, excluding non-recurring items. Total revenues and other income were US$1.3 billion, 4% higher than 1H 2025, with all business lines improving. “Our leasing, trading and financing activities all recorded significant improvements in the first half of 2026. These improved earnings, along with our strong balance sheet, enabled us to increase the first half dividend by 22% compared with the same period last year,” Steven Townend, CEO and Managing Director, BOC Aviation, said.

Ascend Airways Malaysia announced that the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia (CAAM) has approved the inclusion of passenger operations into Ascend Airways Malaysia’s AOC, following the successful completion of the AOC Variation process. “The approval includes our first passenger aircraft, the Boeing 737-800 (9M-ASG), in our Operations Specifications, marking a significant step forward towards commencing passenger operations. A total of three passenger aircraft (B737-800) are expected to be operating under ACMI arrangements by the end of 2026,” the carrier said.

HAECO and China Aircraft Leasing Group Holdings (CALC) have signed an MoU to explore closer collaboration to advance high-value-added aviation services and support Hong Kong’s development as a leading international aviation hub. “In partnership with CALC, we will explore the development of an engine quick-turn platform, initially focusing on quick-turn services, hospital repairs and engine asset management. We will also seek to optimize the utilization of used serviceable materials (USM) to enhance value across the aircraft lifecycle and strengthen supply chain resilience,” HAECO said.
