Peach Aviation Limited (Peach) announced that it has redesigned the uniforms worn by cabin crew, pilots, and ground staff. The new uniforms will make their debut on October 1, 2026. Designed by creative director Yuya Nakata, who also designed the Japan Pavilion attendant uniforms for the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, the new uniforms were produced under the supervision of Isetan Mitsukoshi. This marks the first complete redesign of the uniforms since Peach launched the company in 2012.
Thai Airways International (THAI) has selected CHAMP’s Cargospot neo suite and Cargospot neo Revenue Management to support its ambitious cargo transformation journey. Through this strategic investment, THAI is strengthening its digital foundation to enhance customer experience, drive operational excellence, and support future growth.
Philippine Airlines (PAL) took delivery of its fourth Airbus A350-1000, registered RP-C3513.
Adelaide Airport said that it is partnering with Amadeus to upgrade passenger processing technology. The investment includes new self-service bag drops, check-in kiosks and cloud-based systems designed to make travel faster and more convenient. It will also give airlines greater flexibility, with the ability to operate from any check-in or boarding counter as operational needs change. The transition to the new Amadeus platform will begin later this year, with upgrades rolling out progressively through to mid-2028 alongside the Check-In Hall Expansion. The development is part of Project Flight and the Check-In Hall Expansion Project.
La Caisse and SMBC Aviation Capital are doubling the investment capacity of their Maple Aircraft Company Holdings joint venture to $3 billion after deploying the platform’s original $1.5 billion commitment ahead of schedule.
Abelo has completed the delivery of three new ATR 72-600 aircraft to Bangladesh’s Air Astra, with the third aircraft now handed over under the leasing agreement. The three-aircraft transaction expands Air Astra’s turboprop fleet as the carrier builds additional capacity in Bangladesh’s domestic market. The airline operates the ATR 72-600 on routes including services from Dhaka to Cox’s Bazar and Chattogram.
