Lufthansa Technik has promoted chief operating officer, Harald Gloy, to CEO. Read More » Gloy, who started at the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) service provider 25 years ago as a graduate engineer, will replace Soeren Stark, who will retire on February 1 next year. The Lufthansa Technik board has appointed Gloy as CEO for a five-year term. "Harald Gloy combines deep knowledge of Lufthansa Technik with broad leadership experience across the Lufthansa Group," Lufthansa Technik supervisory board chair, Grazia Vittadini, said. "He has played an important role in the company’s strong performance and knows our customers, our employees and the global maintenance, repair and overhaul market exceptionally well. I look forward to continuing to work with Harald and the entire executive board as he takes on his new role."
