Philippine Airlines (PAL) will start nonstop flights to Delhi and Mumbai from its Manila hub in December. Read More » The airline has scheduled three flights a week to Delhi starting December 14th, with four times weekly service to Mumbai due to commence the following day. Both routes will be served with two-class A321neo equipment, with 12 lie-flat business class seats and 156 economy class seats, and have been scheduled as an overnight service from Manila and day flight from India. "Opening services to Delhi and Mumbai strengthens PAL’s network in one of Asia’s most dynamic economies," PAL president, Richard Nuttall, said. "These routes will create new opportunities for Filipinos to explore India while supporting the growing movement of travellers, businesses and goods between our two countries." PAL will be the second airline on the Manila-Delhi route alongside Air India. There are no airlines flying nonstop between Manila and Mumbai. PAL last served India in 2013 with a one-stop service to Delhi, via Bangkok.
