Boeing said it expected to begin deliveries of its 737 MAX 10 "in the coming months" following the aircraft’s certification by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) overnight. "Completing the certification program clears the path for us to deliver a Boeing airplane that will set a new standard in commercial aviation," Boeing Commercial Airplanes CEO, Stephanie Pope, said. "The 737-10 offers greater capacity, longer range and the best seat economics in its class, a platform that will create more value and opportunities for airlines around the world."
Safran Electronics & Defence’s navigation system, SkyNaute, is being added to the Airbus A220. It is the first time SkyNaute is being deployed on commercial aircraft, having previously been used for military aircraft, helicopters and drones. "By combining inertial navigation with hybridized satellite navigation (GNSS) data, it ensures that the aircraft maintains a precise and reliable trajectory in all circumstances," Safran said.
