Today’s briefs report news from Airbus, CAE, Perth Airport, SITA and ST Engineering. Read More »

Airbus has received a firm order for two A320neos from Faroe Islands-based Atlantic Airways.

Perth Airport has published the designs of its proposed new terminal, part of the airport’s long-term plan to consolidate all its terminals into one precinct. The main works package contract for the new terminal is at the request for tender phase, with the contract expected to be awarded next year.

SITA has agreed a deal to acquire airline operations software business, Flightscape, from CAE for an undisclosed sum. The transaction was expected to close by June 30 next year. "With Flightscape, our aim is to give an airline’s operations team and its partners across the industry the same information when plans change, so they can recover as one operation rather than as separate parts," SITA for Aircraft CEO, Yann Cabaret, said.

ST Engineering reported S$5.6 billion (US$4 billion) in new contracts for the three months to September 30 2026, comprising S$1.6 billion at its commercial aerospace unit, S$1.8 billion at its defence and public security business and S$2.4 billion at urban solutions and satcom.
