Read More » Since August, Etihad Guest members have been able to use their miles to redeem seats on STARLUX’s global network from its Taipei Taoyuan hub. In late October, Etihad Guest members can also earn miles on STARLUX-operated flights, while STARLUX’s COSMILE members can earn and redeem miles when flying on Etihad Airways. "Every step in our partnership with STARLUX has been about making travel between our networks more rewarding for our members, and giving members the opportunity to now earn as well as redeem miles on both airlines further enhances the partnership and value for members," Etihad Guest managing director, Mark Potter, said. Etihad flies nonstop from its Abu Dhabi hub to Taoyuan. STARLUX, which does not fly to Abu Dhabi, codeshares on the route. "The expansion of our partnership with Etihad Airways marks an important milestone in our collaboration," STARLUX CEO, Glenn Chai, said. "By combining our networks and frequent flyer programmes, COSMILE members can enjoy greater flexibility in using their miles and extend their journeys to more than 120 destinations worldwide via Etihad Airways’ hub in Abu Dhabi."
