Airlines: Cambodia Angkor Air will lease two A320ceos from BOC Aviation, with deliveries from the end of the year. It currently operates two A321s and two ATR 72-500s. Read More » Etihad Airways is teaming with UK air navigation service provider NATS to help deliver a series of operational enhancements across its network. Iberia has formally joined the Europe-Japan joint-venture originally formed by British Airways, Finnair and Japan Airlines (JAL). Iran’s Kish Air has added a maiden A321, increasing its fleet to a total of 13 aircraft.

IATA: The International Air Transport Association (IATA) on Wednesday announced that its Passenger Services Conference adopted a resolution on a standard for the “ONE Order initiative” forming part of the regulator’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) Standard. ONE Order will mean the gradual disappearance of multiple reservation records in favour of one document and a single order number.

MRO: Boeing Shanghai Aviation Services Co., Ltd., a joint-venture between Boeing, Shanghai Airport Authorities and China Eastern Airlines, has announced a new long-term agreement with Thomas Cook Group Airlines for heavy maintenance checks on the airline group's entire B767 fleet.

Routes: Air France has cancelled planned A380 resumption to Hong Kong from March 26, meaning the route will continue to be served twice a day with the B777-300ER. Air India Express has added a five-weekly Chennai-Singapore B737-800 route. Asiana Airlines will replace the A330-300 with the B777-200ER on the five-weekly Incheon-Seattle route beginning October 30. China Eastern Airlines will launch a twice-weekly Nanchang-Jeju service beginning October 31. Etihad Airways will reduce frequency on the Abu Dhabi-San Francisco B777-200LR route from daily to thrice-weekly, and instead it will upgrade the previously thrice-weekly Dallas route to daily operations from February 1. Hainan Airlines will increase frequency on the Beijing-Tel Aviv A330-300 route from thrice- to four-weekly from November 6. LOT Polish Airlines has launched a thrice-weekly Warsaw-Incheon B787 service, its third destination in Asia. Mandarin Airlines will add a daily Kaohsiung-Magong E190 service from November 1. Vietnam’s Jetstar Pacific will add a four-weekly Ho Chi Minh-Hong Kong A320 route from November 18, followed by a daily Hanoi-Guangzhou from December 1, and five-weekly Ho Chi Minh-Guangzhou, as well as thrice-weekly Da Nang-Taipei flights from December 2. Myanmar National Airlines will increase frequency on the Yangon-Singapore B737-800 route from daily to twelve-weekly starting December 1. VietJet Air will launch a six-weekly Hanoi-Busan A320 route starting December 16.
