Aviall, the Boeing subsidiary, has inked a multi-year consumables and expendables aircraft parts supply chain agreement with Etihad Airways Engineering, including full supply chain spectrum support, comprising forecasting, planning, advanced provisioning and supply chain administration. GE Aviation and Singapore Airlines Engineering Company (SIAEC) have confirmed a new joint venture focusing on repair and overhaul services on the GE90 and the newer GE9X engine.

Routes: Asiana Airlines has increased frequency on the Jeju-Yeosu A320 route from daily to double daily. Aurora has terminated its twice-weekly Narita-Yuzhno Sakhalinsk Q400 route. Taiwan’s China Airlines (CAL) will launch a weekly Taipei-Changsha B737-800 flight on September 11, complementing existing thrice-weekly Mandarin Airlines service; CAL will terminate its four-weekly Sydney-Auckland A330-300 fifth freedom route on July 13. China Eastern Airlines will increase frequency on the Pudong-Chiang Mai A320 service from daily to double daily from September 1. EgyptAir will add a weekly Cairo-Narita B777-300ER flight starting October 29. Hainan Airlines will add a thrice-weekly Haikou-Phuket B737-800 route on July 6. Hunnu Air has added a twice-weekly Ulaanbaatar-Ulan Ude ATR72 route. Himalaya Airlines will increase frequency on the Kathmandu-Dubai al Maktoum A320 route from thrice-weekly to daily beginning July 16. Indonesia AirAsia will increase frequency on the Jakarta-Macau A320 route from thrice- to four-weekly commencing September 6. Jeju Air will launch a twice-weekly Incheon-Kaohsiung B737-800 route from July 4 through to October 27. Singapore Airlines will replace the A330-300 with the B777-200ER on one of its two daily Singapore-Delhi flights from July 17. Thai Lion Air is delaying its Don Mueang-Denpasar launch from July 1 to August 1. T’Way Airlines will launch a four-weekly Jeju-Narita B737-800 route on September 2. Xiamen Airlines is adding will launch a thrice-weekly Xiamen-Qingdao-Los Angeles B787-9 service on December 11.
