Airlines: Asiana Airlines took delivery of its latest A350-900 on December 27. Malaysia Airlines has taken delivery of its second A350-900. Read More » Nepal Airlines has been awarded A330-200 traffic rights from Kathmandu to Osaka, Seoul and Riyadh. Tianjin Airlines has signed 12-year lease contracts for two A350-900s from Avolon.

Routes: AirAsia will cancel Kuala Lumpur-Solo from January 13, Kuala Lumpur-Surat Thani from February 25 and Kuala Lumpur-Kalibo from March 24. Air China will launch a second daily Beijing-Sheremetyevo A330-300 rotation beginning June 1. Taiwan’s China Airlines will increase frequency on the Kaohsiung-Bangkok B737-800 route from five-weekly to daily from March 25. China United Airlines has launched a four-weekly Beijing Nanyuan-Yantai-Fukuoka B737-800 route. Emirates Airline will be launching a third daily Dubai-Sydney A380 nonstop service on March 25. Hawaiian Airlines will replace the A330-200 with the A321neo on the Honolulu-Portland route from November 4. IndiGo will launch a double daily Chennai-Colombo and a daily Bangalore-Colombo A320 route, both from January 20. JC International will launch a daily Phnom Penh-Singapore A320 route on January 25. Qatar Airways will replace the B787-8 with the B777-300ER on one of its double daily Doha-Hong Kong rotations from March 25. SCOOT will launch a four-weekly Singapore-Berlin B787-8 flight on June 20. Shandong Airlines will add a thrice-weekly Jinan-Hong Kong B737-800 route on January 26. Sky Angkor Airlines is operating a daily Siem Reap-Yinchuan A320 scheduled charter route through to February 24. THAI will increase Bangkok-Seoul from twice daily to 17-weekly between February 14 and March 1. Thai Lion Air has once again postponed the launch of daily Don Mueang-Kochi B737-800 flights, this time to March 1. Tigerair Taiwan will increase frequency on the Taipei-Hakodate A320 route from four- to five-weekly from March 25 and from six-weekly to daily on the Taipei-Okayama route starting the same date. Ukraine International will replace its B767 with a B777-200ER and increase frequency from thrice- to five-weekly on the Kiev-Bangkok route commencing June 16. Vietnam Airlines will increase A321 frequency from Ho Chi Minh City to Singapore from thrice-daily to 25-weekly starting March 25. Xiamen Airlines will launch a thrice-weekly Quanzhou-Kaohsiung B737 route from February 2.
