Airbus nets 10 A350 and 10 A330neo orders in June

Toulouse-headquartered manufacturer, Airbus, has received two orders from undisclosed customers in June for 10 A350-900s and 10 A330neo, respectively. Read More »

The airframer said the A350 order was placed by a new customer for the type. These new purchase commitments take the A350 order tally to 882 XWBs and 224 for the A330neo programme.

In June, Airbus also secured a commitment from IAG for two additional A330-200s, presumably earmarked for long-haul low-cost carrier Level.

The OEM also logged orders for 50 A320neo Family aircraft during the month, 30 from Greece’s Aegean Airlines and 20 from another undisclosed customer. Lufthansa confirmed a top-up order for three A320ceo aircraft during the month.

Through to June 30, Airbus recorded total net orders for 206 aircraft, three more compared to the same period last year. The firm delivered 303 aircraft in the first half, three fewer than last year.
