Boeing reports Singapore Airlines among customers with orders in February

Boeing's orders and deliveries report for February published overnight showed the manufacturer received 55 commercial airline orders last month. Read More » It also confirmed a commitment for 27 767-2C military tankers.

The commercial airplane orders were Singapore Airlines (11 777-Xs), 39 737 MAX family aircraft (including 25 for United Airlines), four 787-10s and one 747-8. The company reported 51 cancellations, making February 2021 the first month since November 2019 that Boeing's orders outnumbered cancellations. The February result took Boeing's gross orders to date in calendar 2021 to 86 aircraft. After including cancellations and conversions and adjustments for accounting standards, 2021 net orders stood at 34 aircraft. Boeing delivered 22 aircraft in February, up from 17 in the same month a year ago.
