Airbus receives 73 commercial aircraft orders in June

Airbus booked 73 orders for commercial aircraft in June, bringing to 165 the number of its gross orders for the first six months of calendar 2021. Read More » The half-year total was down 54.8%, from 365 orders, in the first half of 2020. The company’s orders and deliveries report showed total net orders, which take into account cancellations, stood at 38 aircraft on June 30, 2021, compared with negative 33 aircraft at May 31, 2021. The Toulouse-headquartered manufacturer delivered 77 commercial aircraft to 44 customers in the month. Total deliveries in the first half of 2021 were 51.5% higher, at 297 aircraft, compared with 196 aircraft 12 months ago.
