HAECO Group said its landing gear services unit has received A320 landing gear overhaul capability from the Civil Aviation Administration of Thailand, European Union Aviation Safety Agency and U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.

Lufthansa Technical Training and Singapore's Temasek Polytechnic have extended their aircraft training partnership for another five years. The pair has collaborated since 2007.

ST Engineering said VietJet have signed a maintenance-by-the-hour contract for the "full suite" of component support solutions, including component pooling, repair, overhaul, modification, main base kits, component health monitoring and logistics services, for the LCC’s entire fleet. The contract was announced during Vietnam President, Nguyen Xuan Phuc’s recent visit to Singapore.

In other ST Engineering news, the company reported a net profit of S$570.5 million (US$521.4 million) for the 12 months to December 31, up 9.3% from S$521.8 million in the prior year. Revenue improved 7.5%, to S$7.7 billion, ST Engineering said in a regulatory filing to the Singapore Exchange. "We expect the delivery of our strong order book, our various business initiatives and further business recovery to position us well for 2022 business performance," ST Engineering CEO, Vincent Chong, said.
